# Quarterline: every trap in your group, on one 90-day calendar

Quarterline takes requests from Austin food-service operators with two or more locations to have grease trap pumping arranged across all of them: one calendar, one invoice, and the City's manifests filed per location. Operated by Tempered Technologies LLC, 8 The Green STE B, Dover, DE 19901.

## What the City of Austin requires

- **Pump at least every 90 days** (§ 15-10-197): Every grease trap and interceptor is pumped at least once every 90 days. Sooner if grease and solids together reach 50% of the wetted height, measured from the bottom of the trap to the invert of the outlet pipe.
- **Only a permitted liquid waste hauler** (§ 15-10-197): The waste is removed and transported only by a liquid waste hauler holding a valid City of Austin permit. Whoever services your traps under a Quarterline request must hold that permit. It is the hauler’s permit, not Quarterline’s.
- **Keep the manifest on site, three years** (§ 15-10-165): After each pump-out the hauler’s manifest is kept on site for three years. The City publishes an example manifest. An inspector can ask for any of them at the location.
- **Each miss is its own violation** (Chapter 15-10, Article 12): Each requirement not met is a separate violation. A late pump-out and a missing manifest at the same location are two violations, not one.

## The Quarter Board

At https://quarterline.forevenza.com/ a buyer puts each location on a 12-month board: name, address or Austin area, trap type and size (gallons or pounds), how often it is pumped now (30, 45, 60, 90 days, every 4 months, when it backs up, or a custom number of days), the last pump-out date if known, the current hauler, what they pay per service now (their own figure, optional), and preferred service windows (before open, mid-afternoon, after close, overnight) and days.

The board draws each pump-out for the next twelve months, marks 90 days after each one, and flags any interval longer than the City's 90-day ceiling (§ 15-10-197). It counts pump-outs a year, manifests to keep on file (pump-outs a year times three years, § 15-10-165), trap capacity serviced a year, separate invoices today (one per hauler entered) and, only when prices are entered, the buyer's own current spend a year. A second view, "On your windows", redraws every location on its preferred day and window in shared alternate-week rounds, the first pump-out by the date each trap is due and every interval at or under the chosen frequency (never more than 90 days): the pattern being asked for. A permitted hauler confirms actual dates.

Example board (two example lanes): East 6th kitchen (East, Interceptor, 1,000 gal, every 90 days); Domain kitchen (North / Domain, Indoor trap, 50 lb, every 4 months (120 days)). 7 pump-outs a year, 21 manifests to keep on file, 1 location over the 90-day ceiling.

## Send the board

A request is sent to https://quarterline.forevenza.com/_c/request with action "quote", a need such as "Schedule grease trap pumping for 3 Austin locations on one calendar, one invoice, manifests per location", and specifications: locations_count, locations (label, area, trap_type, trap_size, size_unit, frequency_days, last_pumped, current_hauler, price_per_service_usd, windows, days), areas, trap_sizes, current_frequency, current_providers, current_price_per_service_usd, preferred_windows, start_month, wants (one_calendar, one_invoice, manifests_per_location, other). An email address is required for the reply.

The City requires every pump-out to be done by a liquid waste hauler holding a valid City of Austin permit (§ 15-10-197). Whoever services your traps under this request must hold that permit.

## What happens next

Your board is recorded as a request and given a reference number, shown on screen when you send it. A person reviews the locations, trap sizes, frequencies, last pump-outs, current haulers and service windows you gave, and sources service from liquid waste haulers holding a City of Austin permit. The reply comes by email to the address you leave, with a proposed calendar for all your locations, how one invoice and per-location manifests would work, and a firm price for you to accept or decline. Nothing is scheduled, ordered or committed until you agree terms. Contact details are deleted after 180 days.

1. **You send the board.** Every location, trap, frequency, last pump-out, current hauler, what you pay now if you choose to say, and the windows that suit each kitchen. A reference number appears on screen.
2. **A person reads it.** Your locations are reviewed together, as one program: which traps run close to the 90-day ceiling, which windows overlap, how many haulers and invoices you have today.
3. **Service is sourced.** From liquid waste haulers holding a City of Austin permit, for the locations, sizes and windows you gave.
4. **The reply comes by email.** A proposed calendar for every location, how one invoice and the manifests per location would work, and a firm price for you to accept or decline.
5. **You decide.** Nothing is scheduled, ordered or committed until you agree terms. Your contact details are deleted after 180 days.
