Quarterline

From board to service

How a Quarterline request works.

You send a board. A person reads it as one program across your locations, sources service from City-permitted haulers and replies by email with a proposed calendar and a firm price. Nothing starts until you agree terms.

  1. 01

    You send the board

Every location, trap, frequency, last pump-out, current hauler, what you pay now if you choose to say, and the windows that suit each kitchen. A reference number appears on screen.

  2. 02

    A person reads it

Your locations are reviewed together, as one program: which traps run close to the 90-day ceiling, which windows overlap, how many haulers and invoices you have today.

  3. 03

    Service is sourced

From liquid waste haulers holding a City of Austin permit, for the locations, sizes and windows you gave.

  4. 04

    The reply comes by email

A proposed calendar for every location, how one invoice and the manifests per location would work, and a firm price for you to accept or decline.

  5. 05

    You decide

Nothing is scheduled, ordered or committed until you agree terms. Your contact details are deleted after 180 days.

Exactly what happens to a request today

Your board is recorded as a request and given a reference number, shown on screen when you send it. A person reviews the locations, trap sizes, frequencies, last pump-outs, current haulers and service windows you gave, and sources service from liquid waste haulers holding a City of Austin permit. The reply comes by email to the address you leave, with a proposed calendar for all your locations, how one invoice and per-location manifests would work, and a firm price for you to accept or decline. Nothing is scheduled, ordered or committed until you agree terms. Contact details are deleted after 180 days.

A reference number is shown the moment the board is sent. Keep it: it is how the reply refers to your request.

What the reply contains

  • A proposed calendar for every location on your board, on the windows you chose.
  • How one invoice for the group would be set out.
  • How the manifests would be filed per location for three years.
  • A firm price, for you to accept or decline.
  • The City of Austin liquid waste hauler permit of whoever is proposed to pump each location, as § 15-10-197 requires.

Questions operators ask

Does Quarterline pump grease traps?

No. Quarterline receives your request, arranges and coordinates the service across your locations. Pump-outs are done by liquid waste haulers holding a City of Austin permit (§ 15-10-197).

What does it cost?

The reply quotes a firm price for the calendar you asked for, for you to accept or decline. The board shows no price of Quarterline’s; your current spend appears only from figures you enter, about your own spend.

Do I have to move every location at once?

No. Send the locations you want arranged. One request can hold one location or many, and you can say in the note which ones to start with.

One of my traps has a variance from Austin Water.

Say so in the note. The board flags anything over 90 days because that is the City’s ceiling; a variance is Austin Water’s to grant and changes what applies to that trap.

Is "On your windows" a schedule?

It is the pattern you are asking for: each location on its preferred day and window, every interval at or under your frequency. Actual dates are confirmed by the permitted hauler, in the reply and the terms you agree.

What happens to my details?

They are used to reply to your request and are deleted after 180 days. See the privacy notice. Privacy notice.
